Job summary

Kelly+Partners Western Sydney is seeking a Junior Accountant to build on your current experience, work closely with senior leaders, and receive ongoing mentorship to help you grow.

You will prepare financial statements and income tax returns, liaise with authorities, and support a collaborative, growth-minded team at our Penrith office. If you're pursuing your CA journey, we'll back you every step of the way with training and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting completed or in progress.
• CA designation started or in progress; support will be provided
• Familiar with practice management platforms such as MYOB AE, APS, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero and QuickBooks

Responsibilities

• Preparing Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
• Completing BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG obligations
• Managing payroll tax and workers compensation reconciliations
• Liaising with statutory authorities and supporting clients
• Participating in team events and monthly tax updates
• Supporting a culture of growth, accountability, and shared success
