Job summary

AKD Softwoods is seeking an energetic Finance Professional to join the Group Finance Team in Colac, VIC. The role supports a multi-faceted finance function and offers development and growth opportunities within a supportive, hands-on environment.

Based at the Bromfield Street, Colac office, the role reports to the Group Financial Controller and collaborates with senior finance members on site and across the group. A relevant qualification or proven experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to prioritise and report on financial activities.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable tasks – invoicing, receipting and reporting.
• General Accounting tasks – supporting site and group finance teams.
• Budgeting and Forecasting assistance.
• Project accounting/reporting assistance.
• Month end task – assistance with reporting, accounting and queries.
• Ability to prioritise daily workload.

AKD is seeking an energetic, self-driven and diligent Finance Professional to join our team. This position will support our Group Finance Team in a multi-faceted role which is suited to someone seeking a role with opportunities for development and growth.

The role will assist with various finance activities and be exposed to a range of Group Finance responsibilities, working closely with several senior team members. This position is based at our Bromfield Street, Colac office and will report to the Group Financial Controller while completing regular tasks for other senior Group Finance team members.

This is a great opportunity for someone with either a relevant qualification or demonstrated experience in a relevant finance position who embraces a challenge and variety in their role.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Accounts Receivable tasks – invoicing, receipting and reporting.
