Job summary

AKD is seeking an energetic, self-driven Finance Professional to join our Group Finance Team at the Colac office. You will support a multi-faceted role across accounts receivable, general accounting, budgeting, forecasting and project accounting, reporting to senior team members.

The position offers exposure to various group finance responsibilities with opportunities for development. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential for success in this busy regional team.

Qualifications

• Accounts Receivable experience including invoicing, receipting and reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and project accounting.
• Month end tasks and reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable tasks – invoicing, receipting and reporting.
• General Accounting tasks – supporting site and group finance teams.
• Budgeting and Forecasting assistance.
• Project accounting/reporting assistance.
• Month end task – assistance with reporting, accounting and queries.
• Ability to prioritise daily workload.
• Experience with Accounts Receivable/Bookkeeping.
• Pro-active problem solving and strong Excel skills.

AKD is seeking an energetic, self-driven and diligent Finance Professional to join our team. This position will support our Group Finance Team in a multi-faceted role which is suited to someone seeking a role with opportunities for development and growth.

The role will assist with various finance activities and be exposed to a range of Group Finance responsibilities, working closely with several senior team members.This position is based at our Bromfield Street, Colac office and will report to the Group Financial Controller while completing regular tasks for other senior Group Finance team members.

This is a great opportunity for someone with either a relevant qualification or demonstrated experience in a relevant finance position who embraces a challenge and variety in their role.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Accounts Receivable tasks – invoicing, receipting and reporting.
