Permanent Full Time Classroom Aide position at the Joshua Centre, Tyabb Campus. Commencing Term 1, 2026.

About the Joshua Centre

The Joshua Centre opened in 2022 as a special purpose built facility for autistic students. It is located within the Tyabb Campus and provides a differentiated learning program and universally designed environment to support differing sensory profiles. We seek to see autistic students not just survive, but thrive, be bold and courageous in their learning, social connection and wellbeing in order to live a full and purposeful life.

Responsibilities
  • Assist and support the classroom teacher under their direction to help build an effective learning environment.
  • Support a differentiated curriculum that meets varying learning styles and provide individualised or small group instruction.
  • Work with teachers to support personalised, interest-driven, and strengths-based learning for autistic learners.
