Base pay range

A$120.00/hr - A$150.00/hr

Location: Canberra, Australia

Security Clearance: Baseline Security Clearance required

Preferred Experience: Prior experience in Australian Federal Government projects

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on cloud-based digital solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and platforms.
• Support software development, testing, and deployment using Agile methodologies.
• Implement secure coding practices in compliance with Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, UX designers, and DevOps engineers.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of digital solutions.
• Assist in transitioning services to sustainment, defining SLAs for uptime, response times, and system performance.
• Contribute to Alpha and Beta phases of product development and enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and front-end/back-end development.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, OAuth, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Experience working in Agile teams and using CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
• Prior experience in enterprise system development and government projects is highly preferred.
• Baseline Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one)
