XPT Software in Sydney is seeking a senior Java architect to design end-to-end solutions using Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, and API Mesh approaches. You will define API contracts, data models, authentication, and runbooks while aligning with enterprise standards.

You will collaborate with business analysts, architects, and DevOps, produce architecture diagrams and API specs, ensure security, performance, and observability, and guide Java teams through design reviews and modernization efforts.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+ and modern Spring stack.
• Design of scalable, secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of API design, contracts, and security.

Responsabilidades

• Design end-to-end solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Mesh.
• Define application, integration, and API architecture aligned with standards.
• Design and implement Mesh API solutions for integrating multiple services.
• Define API contracts, service interfaces, data models, auth, and error handling.
• Design scalable, resilient microservices architectures.
• Review existing apps and provide modernization and integration strategies.
• Produce solution design docs, architecture diagrams, API specs, and technical docs.
• Ensure security, performance, scalability, availability, observability, and maintainability.
