The role requires collaboration with the Languages KLA leader and engagement in the school’s professional learning program to continually improve teaching practice.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and the ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• Demonstrated experience planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies.
• Demonstrated experience monitoring student learning and using data to inform teaching practice and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and ability to establish collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the broader school community.

Aufgaben

• Direct teaching of Italian across Years 7–9, including CLIL components.
• Create and deliver engaging lesson plans and assessments aligned to the curriculum.
• Create a calm, positive learning environment and promote student well-being.
• Maintain records of student development and provide reports to parents/guardians.
• Participate in professional learning communities and school-wide PLCs.
