Italian Language Assistant / Education Support Officer - 15 hours per week

We are looking for a highly collaborative and dynamic Italian Language Assistant - Education Support Officer to join our progressive team. Whilst this is a fixed term appointment at present, there may be an opportunity for ongoing employment in the future.

St Thomas the Apostle Greensborough North is seeking a passionate, highly motivated Italian Language Assistant / Education Support Officer to join our learning community, commencing January 27 2026. A Language assistant supports classroom teachers in the development and delivery of our language program, providing language and cultural support, facilitating oral practice, creating engaging activities, and contributing to a positive learning environment.

The position can be supplemented with the opportunity to support students and teachers as an Education Support Officer.

Applicants must have:

• Proficiency in Italian Language
• Certificate III or IV Education Support or Equivalent
• Current Working with Children Check
• A commitment to Catholic Education and the Catholic ethos
