Job summary

HiTech Personnel on behalf of a federal government department is seeking an IT Solutions Architect to lead Azure and .NET based architecture for secure, scalable digital services.

You will produce high-level and detailed architecture artifacts, guide security and technical stakeholders, and establish design patterns and standards. The role includes an initial contract until August 2027 with the view to extend for a further 12 months and an attractive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Extensive background in solutions development in the Microsoft stack using modern cloud technology.
• Proven ability to document Azure/.NET based architecture.
• Experience with Azure resources such as Functions, Logic Apps, PaaS SQL, API Manager and Service Bus.

A prominent Federal Government Department is seeking an experienced IT Solutions Architect to support the design and delivery of secure, modern digital services. The successful IT Solutions Architect will provide architecture leadership across Azure and .NET environments, helping deliver scalable solutions aligned with business and government objectives. The successful IT Solutions Architect will be offered an initial contract until August 2027 with the view to be extended for a further 12 month and receive a rewarding rate.

The successful IT Solutions Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Develop high-level and detailed solution architecture and design documentation.
• Provide technical advice across Azure cloud and on-premises environments.
• Lead architecture activities and engage business, security, and technical stakeholders.
• Establish technical standards, best practices, and solution design patterns.

The successful IT Solutions Architect will have experience in the following:

• Strong understanding of cyber security principles and Australian Government requirements.
