Job summary

Emmbr is seeking an experienced Azure-focused Solution Architect to drive end-to-end architecture across enterprise initiatives. The role centers on designing scalable, secure cloud and integration solutions using Microsoft Azure, APIs and modern patterns.

You will work with Business and Delivery teams to translate requirements into practical designs, ensuring alignment with overall architecture standards and governance. A hybrid office presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Seasoned Solution Architect with deep Azure experience.

• Solid experience in secure API design and modern integration patterns.

Solution Architect | Azure | 12-Month Contract

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Solution Architect to join a large enterprise transformation program, delivering modern cloud and integration solutions across multiple high-profile initiatives.

Working alongside the Lead Architect and wider Architecture practice, you'll play a key role in designing scalable, secure and business-focused solutions across Microsoft Azure, partnering with business stakeholders, delivery teams and vendors to shape the future technology landscape.

About the Role

This is a hands-on architecture position where you'll be responsible for designing end-to-end solutions across a range of enterprise projects, including cloud modernisation, SaaS implementation, system integration and platform rationalisation.

You’ll collaborate closely with Enterprise, Security, Data and Integration Architects to ensure solutions align with broader technology strategy while providing technical leadership throughout delivery.

• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, governance and security principles.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout the full project lifecycle.

About You

You’ll be an experienced Solution Architect with a strong Azure background and a passion for designing modern enterprise solutions.

You’ll bring experience with:

• Microsoft Azure architecture across cloud, integration and application services.
• Azure API Management (APIM).
• Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid and Azure Functions.
• Secure API design, OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
• SaaS integrations and enterprise application architecture.
• Event-driven and cloud-native architecture.
• Azure DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or similar).
• .NET and modern application development.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to communicate effectively across both business and technical teams.
