Job summary

Computing is seeking an experienced Project Release Manager to own planning, coordinating and delivering complex releases across a large-scale enterprise environment. This highly visible role ensures releases are on schedule, meet quality standards and minimise disruption to business operations.

You'll lead release lifecycle activities from planning to deployment and post-release review, coordinating with project managers, technical teams and vendors to manage risks, dependencies and governance.

Qualifications

• Extensive release management experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and priorities.
• Knowledge of ITSM practices and CAB processes; ITIL recognised.

We’re seeking an experienced Project Release Manager to take ownership of planning, coordinating and delivering complex releases across a large-scale enterprise environment.

This is a highly visible role where you’ll be responsible for ensuring releases are delivered on schedule, meet quality standards and minimise disruption to business operations.

• Lead enterprise-wide technology and business releases
• Work across major projects, technical teams, vendors and business stakeholders
• Drive governance, risk management and successful production deployments

About the Role

Working closely with project managers, business leaders, technical teams and vendors, you’ll lead the release lifecycle from planning and readiness assessments through to deployment and post-release review. You’ll be the central point of coordination, ensuring risks, dependencies and governance requirements are effectively managed.

• Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and competing priorities
• Enterprise technology, infrastructure or digital transformation environments

• Jira, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project or similar tools
• DevOps and CI/CD delivery practices
• PRINCE2, PMP, ITIL or Agile certifications
