FutureYou is seeking a hands-on technology leader to own the strategy, roadmap and IT budget for a growing Australian multi-site organisation. You will lead cyber security, infrastructure, AI/automation, and systems integration across ERP, CRM and OT, while delivering security, cost control and business outcomes.

You will report directly to the executive team and shape technology-enabled transformation across multiple sites, balancing risk, performance and cost efficiency.

Formación

• 8+ years of IT experience in a multi-site operational business.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial/operational environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, infrastructure, networking, cloud and endpoint management.
• Proven cyber security, disaster recovery and business continuity experience.
• Experience with OT, plant, production or industrial environments.
• Practical AI, automation and application platform experience.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, systems integration and business process improvement.
• Strong vendor, MSP, budget and contract management experience.
• Commercially minded with proven cost optimisation capability.
• A pragmatic, hands-on leader who can move between executive strategy and technical delivery.

Technology is central to the next stage of growth, with investment across AI, automation, ERP, business systems, cyber security, infrastructure and operational technology. This is not a traditional “keep the lights on” IT role. They are looking for a hands on commercially minded technology leader who can improve systems, strengthen cyber resilience and deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Profile

• 8+ years’ IT experience, including leadership within a multi-site operational business
• Must have experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, construction, distribution, logistics, mining, resources, utilities or a similar operational environment
• Strong hands-on experience across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, infrastructure, networking, cloud and endpoint management
• Proven cyber security, disaster recovery and business continuity experience
• Experience with OT, plant, production or industrial environments highly regarded
• Practical AI, automation and application platform experience
• Experience with ERP, CRM, systems integration and business process improvement
• Strong vendor, MSP, budget and contract management experience
• Commercially minded with proven cost optimisation capability
• A pragmatic, hands-on leader who can move between executive strategy and technical delivery
