Job summary

EPAM Systems in Australia seeks an IT Delivery Manager / Business Analyst to lead IT delivery across multiple workstreams, blending delivery leadership with business analysis to translate business needs into functional solutions and coordinate teams and vendors from discovery to deployment.

The role covers enterprise platforms, cloud migrations and AI-enabled solutions, including large language model projects, with strong focus on Azure, hybrid cloud and seamless handover to operations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in IT project, programme or delivery management from discovery through implementation.
• Master's degree in finance, business, information systems or related discipline.
• At least 5 years in business analysis and business process optimisation, including requirements elicitation and functional specification development.
• Experience leading multiple delivery streams with budgets, capacity planning and vendor coordination.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile, Scrum, Kanban and hybrid delivery approaches.
• Experience delivering enterprise applications, platform integrations or cloud migrations, with Azure and hybrid environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive reporting skills.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or Azure Boards and modelling tools.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, prioritise and validate business requirements, translating objectives into scope, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Investigate processes to identify gaps and inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Develop specifications for software developers, covering rules, integrations and dependencies.
• Clarify requirements and review designs throughout development.
• Lead cross-functional streams and coordinate vendors to manage delivery outcomes.
• Apply Agile and hybrid delivery techniques to plans, costs and resources.
• Lead AI and generative AI projects, coordinating deployment across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans, handling changes to requirements, costs and timelines.
• Coordinate UAT, defect resolution and release readiness.
