Job summary

Tassal Group is seeking a Marine Engineer (MED I) to join the Karribi vessel on Cone Bay Island, remote WA. You will oversee daily machinery maintenance, assist with onshore tasks, and report to the Skipper. The role offers an even time roster and a unique offshore living environment on-site.

Essential MED I certification, with Master 4/5 desirable, and the ability to pass medical and random drug tests. Australian working rights required.

Qualifications

• MED I ticket (Essential)
• Master 4 or 5 (Desirable)
• Self-management, organization and decision-making skills
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test
• Full-time working rights in Australia

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance of machinery to minimise downtime.
• Perform start-up and shut-down procedures.
• Vessel housekeeping focusing on engine rooms and deck machinery.
• Assist with general farm duties as directed by the Skipper.
