Job summary

Hydratec Engineering Pty Ltd – Dalby is seeking an Irrigation Technician to install, service and maintain Valley centre pivot and lateral move irrigation systems across regional Australia. The role involves hands-on field work on farms, with travel across Queensland and interstate locations.

The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude and a willingness to travel, with opportunities to develop specialised irrigation skills in a growing industry.

Qualifications

• Experience in irrigation is advantageous but not essential.
• Background in agriculture, mechanical trades, construction or rural industries encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble and commission Valley centre pivot and lateral move irrigation systems.
• Repair and service existing irrigation equipment.
• Install pumps, mainlines and associated infrastructure.
• Travel to farms across Queensland and interstate locations as required.
• Work safely within a small team and maintain high workmanship standards.
