Job summary

Green by Nature in Sydney, NSW is seeking an irrigation technician to install, service and repair irrigation systems across diverse outdoor sites. You will diagnose faults, program watering schedules and help deliver sustainable water-saving solutions.

Reporting to the Irrigation Manager, you will bring a Certificate IV in Irrigation or Certificate III in Horticulture, at least three years of irrigation experience, strong fault-finding skills and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on irrigation expertise and ability to work across diverse outdoor sites.
• Proven fault-finding and problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair irrigation systems.
• Ability to interpret irrigation plans and technical drawings; valid driver’s licence; safety-focused and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair manual and automatic irrigation systems.
• Diagnose faults and repair controllers, valves, pumps, pipes and sprinklers.
• Program and monitor watering schedules.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Support sustainable water use and landscape health.
• Work safely and comply with environmental requirements.
