Job summary

JOBSTAR PTY LTD on the Gold Coast is seeking a hands-on Installation Technician to join our irrigation team. You will install spray irrigation systems in Land Application Areas, following approved plans and local regulations.

The role involves coordinating weekly installation schedules, working with Sales/Project Managers, communicating with customers and Plumbing Inspectors, and troubleshooting treatment plants and pumps.

Qualifications

• Current QBCC plumbing or drainage licence (or willing to obtain).
• Wastewater treatment system service endorsement is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s licence is required.
• Excavator ticket is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Arrange the weekly schedule of installations.
• Review approved plans and wastewater reports.
• Install spray irrigation systems in Land Application Areas per designs and regulations.
• Work closely with Sales/Project Managers and communicate with customers.
• Communicate with Plumbing Inspectors.
• Repair and troubleshoot with treatment plants, irrigation areas and rainwater pumps.
• Installations across Gold Coast through to Lockyer Councils.

To be successful, you will have:

• Current Plumbing / Drainage QBCC licence or willing to obtain
• Wastewater Treatment System Service endorsement will be an advantage

• Excavator operators ticket an advantage but not essential
• Commitment to providing quality work
• Reliability, honest, self-motivation

The Role

• Installing Spray Irrigation systems in the Land Application Area, in accordance with the designs and regulations.
• Working closely with Sales / Project Managers and communicating with their customers.
• Communication with Plumbing Inspectors
• Repair and troubleshooting with treatment plants, Irrigation areas Rainwater Tank Pumps
• Installations across areas from Gold Coast - Lockyer Councils
