Stahmann Webster is seeking an Irrigation Assistant to support orchard management across our pecan and other tree crops. You will manage irrigation scheduling, monitor crops, and assist with maintenance, fertigation, and reporting.
You will work with the irrigation team to set up MAIT systems, troubleshoot pumps, and coordinate contractors while upholding safety and KPI targets. Valid driver’s licence required, and Chemcert certification is preferred.

The Irrigation Assistant works across our pecan orchards. These orchards are a mix of development and producing trees with Netafim single net irrigation. The role is to provide day-to-day support to the Stahmann Webster's orchard management team and staff in all aspects of irrigation operations.
Our business is widespread, growing walnuts and almonds in the Riverina Region in New South Wales, pecans in Moree andmacadamias, avocados, mangoes in Bundaberg, Queensland. In addition to fruit and nut growing, we also operate apiaries located in Temora, Nowra and Dubbo.
Off the paddock, we operatenut processing and packing facilities in Leeton, Toowoomba and Bundaberg as well as fruit packing and processing in Bundaberg. In addition, our shared services teams (Finance, Sales, ESG, Safety and People & Culture) are located across all of our sites as well as the Brisbane, Melbourne and Griffith offices.
