Job summary

NEP Australia is seeking a full-time Audio and Communications Engineer, HUB, in Melbourne. You will maintain audio and communications systems, ensuring 100% uptime for events and projects, and work with the Andrews Hub teams in Melbourne and Sydney to deliver high‑quality OB and studio productions.

You will plan, setup, test, and QA systems, manage remote signal paths, and document configurations while collaborating closely with engineers, clients, and managers.

Qualifications

• Technical or associate degree is desirable; relevant experience will be considered.
• Connectivity, configuration, and operation of RTS communications systems.
• Understanding of IP audio transmission standards and conversions.
• Prior experience in the broadcast industry.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Audio and Communications systems with 100% uptime for events and projects.
• Plan, setup, and test systems for events and projects; ensure connectivity and QA for OB and Studio productions.
• Collaborate with Melbourne and Sydney Hub teams on projects and ideas.
• Establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
