Job summary

Frontier Advisors in Sydney, Australia, is seeking an Investment Operations Specialist - Investment Control to support the Investment Operations team. The role focuses on strengthening the control framework, monitoring service delivery, and delivering clear operational insights.

You will own end-to-end Investment Operations activities, report to the Investment Committee, and collaborate with custodians, investment managers and internal stakeholders to optimise processes and risk management.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in investment or fund operations, ideally in superannuation.
• Proven ability to take ownership for operational processes.
• Adaptable mindset with excellent influencing skills.

• Own end to end delivery of defined Investment Operations activities.
• Act as a senior point of execution and judgement in Investment Operations matters.

Investment Operations Specialist - Investment Control

Position Objective

The role will play a critical role in supporting the Investment Operations team. This role is intended to add knowledge and experience of Investment operations and be a support across the core Investment Operations activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor custodian and third-party investment manager service delivery to ensure positive outcomes and adherence to service standards.
• Investigation, management and reporting of mandate compliance breaches using information provided by the custodian and external investment managers.
• Proactively monitor and identify risks associated with compliance of the fund's asset allocation.
• Generation and analysis of complex reporting material to support senior level decision making.
• Preparation of reports on mandate compliance, securities lending and counterparty exposure to the Management Investment Committee and Board
• Own end to end delivery of defined Investment Operations activities
• Act as a senior point of execution and judgement in matter relating to Investment Operations.
