Job summary

Enemix Pty Ltd in Sydney leads a fast-growing battery storage platform and seeks a senior investment professional to drive transaction execution. From day one you will own financial models and manage deals end-to-end, coordinating with internal teams, advisers, lenders and investors as projects mature.

You will work closely with the Development team to deepen bankability and investability insights, leveraging your experience in infrastructure and renewables to advance energy projects across

Qualifications

• Genuine transactional experience in Development or Advisory with live deals.
• Hands-on financial modelling across project cashflows and investment analysis.
• Experience in infrastructure and renewables, ideally battery storage (BESS).
• Track record of progression in energy and climate roles.
• Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders under pressure and to deadline.

About the Role

You'll join a lean, high-ownership Investment team, reporting to the VP who leads it. There's no layer of hierarchy between you and the deals here. From day one, you'll be running financial models, managing live transactions end to end, and working directly with the Development team to build their understanding of bankability and investability as projects mature.

Core responsibilities:

• Own and run the financial models that underpin every transaction, from project cashflows to investment analysis
• Manage transactions and stakeholders as deals progress, coordinating internal teams, advisers, lenders and investors through to completion
• Interface directly with the Development team, upskilling them on bankability and investability

About You

What we're looking for:

• Genuine transactional experience in Development or Advisory, with real exposure to live deals rather than purely analytical support
• Strong, hands-on financial modelling capability across project cashflows and investment analysis
• Experience in infrastructure and renewables, ideally battery storage (BESS). Venture capital backgrounds are less relevant here
• A track record of driving your own progression, whether through fast promotion, a secondment, or a deliberate move into energy and climate
• Comfort managing stakeholders, internal and external, under pressure and to deadline
