Job summary

dnata catering & retail in Darwin seeks a full-time Storesperson to manage inventory and oversee warehouse operations behind the scenes, ensuring efficient in-flight dining experiences for thousands of passengers daily.

The role requires forklift certification (high reach preferred), stock handling, and the ability to work across shifts, including weekends and holidays. Training and development opportunities are provided within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current forklift licence (high reach preferred) and experience with pallet jacks (essential).
• Experience in warehouse/storehouse operations, including stock handling and storage.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Availability to work shifts (including weekends and public holidays).
• Good communication and basic numeracy skills for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and inspecting incoming products, ensuring quality and quantity meet our standards.
• Unpacking, labelling, and organising stock while maintaining a clean, safe warehouse.
• Safely operating forklifts and manual handling devices.
• Managing orders and liaising with suppliers to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Performing administrative tasks and manual stock takes.
• Follow all food safety, safety, and hygiene policies, including HACCP, IFSA, and QSAI standards.
• Willingness to assist in other operational areas as needed.
