Qualifications

• Tertiary qualified in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or similar is desired.
• Experience in retail Inventory Planning, Allocations and Forecasting.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to manage and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse data to develop efficient inventory plans.
• Forecast demand based on data, trends and sales projections.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to inventory shortages or excess.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Inventory Planning Manager, the Inventory Planner will support the team by providing timely insights and reports to manage and optimize inventory levels ensuring our business operations runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse data to develop efficient inventory plans
• Forecast demand based on data, trends and sales projections
• Identify and mitigate risks related to inventory shortages or excess
• Work closely with the Buying Team to ensure category forecasting meets planning objectives
• Analyse and support supply chain team with allocation decision
• Master the New Inventory planning system for planograming and forecasting
• Develop contingency plans for inventory related disruptions
• Utilize inventory management tools and system to develop and execute inventory strategies

The Successful Candidate Will Possess

• Tertiary qualified in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or similar is desired
• Experience in retail Inventory Planning, Allocations and Forecasting
• Analytical mindset with the ability to manage and interpret data
• High degree of Excel knowledge and experience
