Job summary

Liebherr-Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Materials Coordinator to optimise inventory across the end-to-end lifecycle, ensuring availability and efficient distribution within the network. The role focuses on risk planning, lifecycle management and continuous improvement of supply chain performance.

• Experience in inventory management, materials planning, purchasing or supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• Well-developed computer skills and experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Optimise inventory levels to support service and working capital targets.
• Monitor stock availability and drive DIFOT performance.
• Manage safety stock settings in line with company policies.
• Identify and reduce surplus, excess and slow-moving inventory.
• Coordinate inventory distribution across branches and locations.
• Analyse inventory performance and provide actionable insights.
• Maintain accurate inventory master data and system integrity.
• Support CSI and quality-related inventory initiatives.
• Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and maintain inventory reports, documentation and records.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
