Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Compressor Systems & Services in Australia seeks a Storeperson to manage warehouse receivals and despatch, ensuring inventory is accurately received, stored and dispatched in a timely manner.

You will label stock, prepare orders, coordinate with logistics partners, perform stock takes, maintain housekeeping, and use inventory management software along with basic computer applications, while upholding safety and CoR requirements.

Qualifications

• Forklift license holders preferred and experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer applications.
• Understanding of safety regulations and CoR principles.
• Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management.
• Experience with stock taking and inventory reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming goods against POs and delivery documents.
• Record discrepancies or damages during receiving.
• Label and store goods in designated areas promptly.
• Prepare and pack orders for dispatch per standards.
• Coordinate with logistics partners for timely pickup and delivery.
• Complete shipping documentation and filings.
• Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts.
• Maintain housekeeping in warehouse and storage areas.
• Assist Warehouse Supervisors with office admin duties.
