The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Inventory Analyst to join Downer's Infrastructure Supply Chain team. You'll play a key role in reconciling, analysing, and transacting inventory positions, managing slow-moving and obsolete materials, and providing data-driven insights to support optimal material management outcomes. This role involves independent engagement with external partners to optimise inventory, maintain accurate stock-on-hand reporting, and ensure compliance with organisational standards.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain accurate inventory data and reconcile stock positions.
  • Conduct audits and validations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and datasets to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, clients, warehouse teams, T&I staff, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Manage slow-moving and obsolete material reporting, providing timely analysis and recommendations.
  • Support compliance with Zero Harm, safety, and quality processes.
  • Analyse material performance and provide actionable insights to management.
