Job summary

Austin Health is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist to support the Radiology department across its campuses in Melbourne. The role emphasizes interventional procedures, IR on-call participation, and high-quality patient care.

The position requires FRANZCR or equivalent, AHPRA registration, and demonstrated IR training. MR body reporting is preferred, with teaching and research responsibilities accompanying clinical duties.

Qualifications

• Fellowship of FRANZCR or equivalent required.
• Registered Medical Practitioner with AHPRA.
• Interventional Radiology training and IR capability required.
• EBIR and MR body reporting preferred.
• Commitment to high quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and interventional radiology services and participate on the diagnostic on-call roster.
• Support high-quality radiology services across Austin Health and affiliated sites.
• Engage in teaching, training, administrative duties, and audit/research.
