NSW Health is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse at Northern Beaches Hospital in Sydney. You will join a fast-paced, multidisciplinary Cath Lab team delivering contemporary diagnostic and interventional cardiac services.

The role requires RN Division 1 with NSW AHPRA registration, with experience in cardiac catheterisation and the ability to provide peri-procedural care and on-call support. Registration and commitment to high-quality patient care are essential.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as a Division 1 nurse.
• Recent experience in a Cardiac Catheter Laboratory or interventional cardiology.
• Advanced clinical knowledge and critical thinking for fast-paced acute settings.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary Cath Lab team.

Responsibilities

• Scrub/scout for angiography procedures, including coronary angiograms +/- PCI, interventional studies and device implantation.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure nursing care.
• Participate in on-call opportunities.
• Perform anaesthetic nursing duties and IV sedation.
• Ensure availability and preparation of supplies and equipment for procedures.
