Job summary

Gooding’s Transport, a Brisbane-based freight company celebrating over 40 years, is seeking experienced MC drivers for overnight express linehaul and interstate general freight. We operate a modern fleet from Yatala and welcome drivers living between Brisbane and Sydney.

Applicants must hold an MC Class Licence, be skilled with an 18 speed RoadRanger, have at least 5 years driving experience and be capable of loading/unloading and securing loads.

Qualifications

• MC Class Licence is required.
• Experience with 18 speed RoadRanger transmissions.
• Minimum of 5 years driving experience.
• Competency in loading/unloading and securely restraining loads.
• Five year driving history showing a good driving record.
• Pre-employment Alcohol & Drug Screening Test.
• Ideally meet training and medical requirements to work as a BFM driver.

Gooding’s Transport is a long-standing transport business celebrating over 40 years in the industry (1983-2026) with an outstanding safety record. We are based at Yatala and operate a modern fleet (predominantly Kenworths) with inclusions such as fridges, microwaves, sleeper cab air-conditioning. We are currently seeking long-term loyal B-Double drivers who want to work for a reputable business in the industry, and be rewarded with generous pay rates and conditions. We have new Kenworths coming and are seeking experienced MC drivers to join the team.

Our work includes overnight express linehaul work and/or interstate general freight work (long distance - away from home).Drivers who live between Brisbane - Sydney are encouraged to apply.

We are seeking experienced drivers who are competent loading/unloading and securing freight, and have previous experience with referees available to contact.

Drivers must have the following as a minimum requirement:

MC Class Licence

Licenced and experienced in 18 speed manual Roadranger

Minimum of 5 years driving experience

Competency in loading/unloading and securely restraining loads

Five year driving history showing a good driving record

Pre-employment Alcohol & Drug Screening Test

Ideally meet the training and medical requirements to work as a BFM driver
