Job summary

GTS Freight Management is seeking experienced Interstate MC Drivers to join our team at our Minchinbury depot. This full-time role operates regular interstate services between Sydney and Melbourne, with sleeping in the truck's sleeper cab and loading and unloading freight.

You will be based at Minchinbury and perform regular Sydney–Melbourne interstate work, sleeping in the sleeper cab while away. A current MC licence and interstate linehaul experience are essential, along with a safe, reliable

Qualifications

• A current MC driver's licence.
• Interstate linehaul driving experience.
• Strong understanding of fatigue-management and chain-of-responsibility requirements.
• Safe and responsible driving record.
• Ability to spend nights away from home.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Operate interstate services between Sydney and Melbourne.
• Safely load and unload freight.
• Complete vehicle inspections and transport documentation.
• Comply with fatigue-management, road-safety and company requirements.
• Handle freight safely and professionally.
• Maintain clear communication with operations staff.
• Represent GTS Freight professionally when dealing with customers.
