Job summary

BDO in Sydney seeks a Manager for its International Business Services team. You will lead a portfolio of international clients and institutional investors, overseeing client relationships, engagement delivery and team leadership across cross-border finance environments.

You will engage with overseas stakeholders, contribute to the growth of the practice, and take ownership of significant client-facing responsibilities within a sophisticated financial services setting.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification.
• 6+ years' experience in Business Services, outsourced finance or similar advisory environment.
• Strong financial reporting and tax compliance capability.
• Experience managing client engagements and coordinating delivery across multiple stakeholders.
• Collaborative leadership style with passion for developing people.
• Strong commercial judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicating with senior stakeholders locally and internationally.
• Experience with multinational groups/foreign-owned subsidiaries/real estate funds/institutional investment structures would be highly regarded albeit not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead across a portfolio of international businesses and institutional investment clients, including client relationships, engagement delivery and team leadership.
• Own significant client-facing responsibilities while contributing to growth and development of the practice.
• Work as part of an outsourced finance function across year-round client engagements with overseas stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance across borders.
• Support governance, risk management and process improvement initiatives within complex client environments.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and contribute to talent development within the practice.
