Boyd Recruitment partners with a long‑established timber and hardware leader in Sydney, seeking an Internal Timber & Hardware Sales Trade Representative. You will be the trusted contact for builders, quickly quoting and processing orders while keeping customers informed and ensuring timely delivery.
The role emphasizes solution selling, proactive problem solving, and a friendly, professional presentation in a fast‑paced, people‑centred environment.
Boyd Recruitment is proud to partner with a highly respected, long‑established leader in timber and building materials — a business with more than 50 years of success built on integrity, personalised service, and decades‑long relationships across Sydney’s building and construction industry.
They supply the products that keep jobs moving: framing timber, fibre cement, structural & decking, engineered wood, panels, doors, skirting, architraves, sand, cement, lintels and more — backed by reliable delivery and a reputation for doing things properly.
If you’re a strong communicator, confident in solution selling, and naturally down‑to‑earth operator who thrives in a fast‑paced, people‑centric role — this is your next long‑term home.
As an Internal Sales Trade Representative, you’re the person builders rely on — the one who gets things moving, solves problems before they appear, and makes every customer feel looked after from the moment they call. You bring a genuine desire to help, and it shows in the way you action orders quickly, follow through without hesitation, and ensure materials reach site smoothly and on time.
Your positivity is unmistakable — customers can hear your smile the second you pick up the phone. Your presentation is consistently professional, whether you’re behind the counter or managing calls during the morning rush. And your passion for timber and hardware shines through in every interaction, every quote, and every detail you take pride in getting right.
You’ll be joining a business with a down‑to‑earth CEO, a professional team, and an environment built on trust, autonomy and genuine support. No micromanagement. No corporate theatrics. Just a company that values people who care.
