Job summary

Seymour Whyte is seeking a Communications Advisor to craft engaging internal and external stories across newsletters, intranet, social media and events. You’ll translate technical information into compelling content while collaborating with teams nationwide to strengthen employee engagement and the employer brand.

Responsibilities include creating multimedia content, coordinating campaigns, and managing digital platforms while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or significant experience in a similar communications, marketing or content role.
• Strong knowledge of communications and marketing principles, including digital marketing and content planning.
• Experience with internal communications, brand strategy or employer brand activity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to create content for different channels.
• Experience working with intranet or web environments.

Responsibilities

• Creating engaging written, visual and video content for internal and external audiences.
• Developing content across newsletters, intranet, social media, LinkedIn, websites, email communications, presentations and events.
• Supporting communication campaigns and multi-channel content to strengthen employee engagement and employer brand.
• Connecting employees to people, projects and opportunities through compelling storytelling.
• Partnering with stakeholders to identify and share stories that showcase culture and achievements.
• Managing and enhancing digital communication platforms, including intranet content.
• Coordinating communication materials, events, photography and video production, while monitoring performance.
