Job summary

AustralianSuper is seeking a Manager Internal Audit on a 12-month contract in Melbourne to lead key elements of the annual Internal Audit Plan and deliver independent assurance across governance, risk and control processes.

You will work with the Chief Audit Executive and risk partners to develop a world-class audit function, execute audits with regulatory and operational focus, and produce actionable reports for improvement. This role requires CIA certification and financial services knowledge.

Qualifications

• CIA certification or eligibility is required.
• Strong understanding of internal auditing standards and governance.
• Experience delivering end-to-end internal audit engagements in financial services or superannuation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering core elements of the annual internal audit plan.
• Produce written reports with findings and management actions for improvement.
• Collaborate with risk partners to monitor implementation of audit findings.
• Support development of a risk-based global internal audit plan for FAC review.
• Drive continuous improvement in audit processes and reporting.
