Our architects, engineers, interior designers, consultants, sustainability specialists, and technologists are passionate about the power of design. Our collaborative culture and our innovative, sustainable approach to projects help us create buildings that matter to our world.

Together, we are enhancing the quality of life globally through design.

Join us and design your place with Stantec.

The buildings that make up the landscape of our daily lives seem like permanent fixtures, fastened to a time and place. But what if that didn’t have to be true? What if our built environment — where we live, learn, play, and conduct business — carried us forward instead?

Our Buildings practice keeps people at its heart, recognizing that our shared journey forward is shaped by the meaningful and responsive places we design. From iconic designs to monumental groundbreakings, join us to bring transformational building solutions to life. Every day we apply our expertise, creativity, and passion to propel communities into the future—join us!

The Stantec Yukon office has a vibrant and dynamic environment with unparalleled opportunities for professional growth. Our projects vary in size ranging from small commercial developments to municipal, government, community and private sector developments and facilities. Our multidisciplinary northern office is looking for an Intern Architect to round out our growing practice in Northern Canada. Whitehorse is the capital of the Yukon and is a remarkably cosmopolitan city of roughly 30,000, filled with well-educated families and professionals. It is the commercial hub for projects and communities across the Yukon and the wilderness is just steps from our downtown office. In Whitehorse northern traditions mix with the everyday lifestyles of modern Canadians from all cultures and backgrounds. The result is a unique sense of place that both welcomes newcomers and embraces new ideas. Up here work-life balance truly exists. Whether you’re interested in an adventure filled with fishing, skiing, hiking and snowmobiling, or just looking to live in a beautiful, small urban centre, Whitehorse could be the place for you. Build your career AND enjoy your life!
