Job summary

Kelly+Partners Griffith is seeking an experienced Accountant to join the Griffith team. This role offers the flexibility of remote work for candidates located elsewhere while maintaining opportunities for meaningful client relationships and career growth.

You will work with Partners on a diverse portfolio across accounting, tax and advisory matters, with monthly tax training and support for CA studies. Remote-friendly role with room to develop professionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3+ years’ experience in a Chartered Accounting practice.
• Working towards, or planning to commence, the CA Program.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
• Take lead in the preparation Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
• Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
• Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations
• Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
• Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
• Help provide an exceptional service to our clients
• Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
• Offer support and training to junior team members

About You

• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
• Previous experience working remotely highly advantageous
• Solid technical accounting knowledge, or a genuine eagerness to build it
• Experience with APS accounting software (highly regarded)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive, motivated and genuinely keen to learn, grow and develop professionally
