Job summary

Pitcher Partners is seeking an Accountant to join our Pharmacy and Healthcare client-focused team in Brisbane. You will deliver taxation, financial and business advisory services with mentorship and growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate has a strong business services background and can manage GST, FBT and payroll tax returns, alongside preparing financial statements and tax reconciliations for a sophisticated client base.

Qualifications

• Experience with GST, FBT and payroll tax returns.
• Experience with most aspects of accounting and tax compliance, including financial statements, tax reconciliations, income tax returns and tax consolidation groups.
• Proficiency with MYOB and Xero accounting packages; ability to navigate larger enterprise products is an advantage.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work with large data sets in Excel.

We are looking for an Accountant to join our firm focusing on our Pharmacy and Healthcare based clients. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic, collaborative team. You'll receive mentorship opportunities and will deliver a variety of taxation, financial, and business advisory services.

This position is ideal for an experienced accountant with a strong background in business services, eager to advance their career while working with a sophisticated client base.

• Collaborating as part of a team and working with Managers and Partners towards client success

• Ability to understand client needs and exhibit a high level of client service
• Experience with preparing GST, FBT and payroll tax returns
• Experience with most aspects of accounting and tax compliance, including preparation of financial statements, tax reconciliations, income tax returns and tax effect accounting for companies, trusts and tax consolidated groups
• Ability to use, navigate and troubleshoot common client accounting software packages (i.e. MYOB and Xero), and larger enterprise products (an advantage)
• Well-refined oral and written communication skills
• Comprehensive Microsoft Excel skills and ability to efficiently work with large datasets
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
• Ability to integrate with the team and collaborate effectively
