Job summary

Select Staffing's client, a growing Perth accounting practice, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to manage a client base across Western Australia, handling complex tax matters, BAS and advisory work.

The role offers hybrid working, with two days from home and three days in the office, and requires 3+ years in public practice, CA/CPA qualification, and strong communication. Salary ranges 105k–130k plus super.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as an accountant within public practice accounting in Australia.
• CA/CPA qualified or nearing qualification.
• Australian citizen or resident visa holder.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in XERO or MYOB including client setup and complex transactions.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage a client base of key established clients from across WA.
• First point of contact with key clients.
• Work alongside a highly experienced Manager and Director.
• Handle Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, Complex tax returns, Div 7A, CGT, BAS.
• Consulting with the ATO.
• Provide business advisory to clients with direct client contact.

Senior Tax Accountant:

Manage a client base of key established clients from across W.A

First point of contact with key clients

Work alongside a highly experienced Manager and Director

Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, Complex tax returns, Div 7A, CGT

BAS

Consulting with the ATO

Business advisory to clients with direct client contact

Part or full time hours available

2 days work from home and 3 days office based (If full time)

Can also offer part-time school hours 9 to 2 each day

To apply:

Have 3 or more years experience as an accountant within public practice accounting in Australia

Be close to completion or already CA/CPA qualified

Australian citizen or resident visa holder

In return:

A salary of between $105,000 to $130,000 + Super
