Job summary

D & L Partners in Sydney is seeking an Intermediate Business Services Accountant to join our growing firm. You will prepare financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships, and handle BAS and IAS compliance while supporting advisory work.

With 2–4 years in public practice, you will liaise with clients, work with senior accountants and partners on engagements, and liaise with the ATO. This role offers a supportive team environment and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in public practice accounting.
• Strong understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements.
• Experience using Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Prepare BAS, IAS and other compliance obligations.
• Assist with tax planning, advisory work and monthly management reports.
• Liaise with clients and respond to queries in a timely manner.
• Work closely with senior accountants and partners on client engagements.
• Liaise with the ATO.
