Lawson Elliott Recruitment in Sydney's Northern Beaches seeks an enthusiastic Intermediate Accountant to join a supportive, boutique firm. You will manage a small client portfolio, gain exposure across A&A, tax and advisory, and develop your technical foundations with Partners guidance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns and financial statements for multiple entities, including SMSFs.
• Manage a small portfolio of BAS, IAS and other lodgements.
• Provide VCFO consulting, including tax planning and business advisory.
• Liaise directly with clients and deliver high-quality service.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of tax returns and financial statements across all entities, including SMSFs
• Managing a small portfolio of BAS, IAS and other statutory lodgements
• Providing VCFO consulting, including tax planning and broader business advisory
• Liaising directly with clients, understanding their needs and delivering high-quality service
• Providing feedback, mentorship and guidance to junior team members

To be considered for this exceptional leadership position you will:

• Have a minimum of 1-2 years business services experience within a reputable firm
• Hold a CA/CPA qualification or working towards
• Be Degree qualified or working towards
• Be enthusiastic about mentoring and train junior team members
• Poses excellent communication, organisational, and client relationship management skills
