Job description

Overview

We’re looking for a confident and capable Interior Designer to join our client’s Health Sector team and step into a pivotal, stand-alone ID role.

About The Role

This role will give you exposure to all stages of interior design, from concept development through to documentation and delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with our architects and technicians to deliver creative, well-considered solutions that respond to client briefs and project requirements.

Day-to-day, You Will

  • Work on concept design, space planning, and full interior schemes.
  • Conduct site inspections and document existing conditions.
  • Develop detailed design documentation and 3D models using Revit.
  • Research and schedule materials, finishes, and FF&E.
  • Prepare presentation boards and client documentation.
  • Support contract administration and project reporting.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and consultants to keep projects moving.

You’ll have the support of the broader Interior Design team but will operate autonomously. The projects you’ll work on range from smaller refurbishments to upcoming medium to large scale projects.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 4-7 years as an Interior Designer, with healthcare experience and interest in the sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit is essential, along with strong documentation and presentation skills.
  • Personality: Confident, proactive, and collaborative - someone who enjoys taking ownership and working closely with architects and project teams. You don’t need to know all the answers but must be resourceful and able to leverage internal expertise to get things done.
  • Growth Mindset: This is a great opportunity to grow into a senior role as the team continues to win larger projects.

Package & Benefits:

  • Salary: $80-90k package (commensurate with experience).
  • Career Development: Front-end exposure, significant client interaction, and a clear pathway to more senior responsibilities.
  • Work Environment: Collaborative, supportive, and part of a practice dedicated to designing places where people and communities can thrive.
