Job summary

AGL is seeking an experienced Interface Manager to join the Energy Assets team on a 24-month fixed term contract, supporting the Hunter Transmission Project while maintaining Bayswater Power Station's operations.

Based on site at Bayswater, Muswellbrook, you will be the key contact between AGL, government agencies and project stakeholders, leading multidisciplinary teams to meet project obligations and minimize operational impact.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across agencies and contractors.
• Power generation, transmission, or major infrastructure experience.
• Engineering or related degree and professional qualifications.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Commercial acumen balancing competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate AGL's interfaces for the Hunter Transmission Project.
• Represent AGL at meetings with government agencies and stakeholders.
• Manage risk and ensure operation of Bayswater Power Station.
• Coordinate internal and external specialists and service providers.
• Oversee budgets, procurement, and resource planning.
• Promote safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
