Job summary

Built Environs is seeking a finance professional to support financial analysis, general ledger reconciliation, and overhead cost management across Australia and New Zealand projects.

You will prepare balance sheet reconciliations, assist with payroll tax & Work Cover returns, and help produce timely monthly financial reports for the Corporate Office, including job costing and cash flow forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business with Accounting major.
• CPA or CA qualification completed.
• Minimum 3 years financial or professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Initiative to prioritise and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong numeracy and analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in financial analysis and general ledger reconciliation.
• Support overhead cost management and intercompany cost accounting.
• Process recharge invoices for related entities and manage intercompany creditors.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist with payroll tax & Work Cover returns.
• Contribute to monthly financial reports, trial balance, P&L and cash flow forecasts.
• Support project report consolidation and timely reporting to Corporate Office.
