Job description

Create your best future and join as an Intelligence and Decision Analyst.

What's the role?

As an Intelligence and Decision Analyst, you will turn business questions into trusted insights, recommendations and measurable outcomes. Working across the full analytics lifecycle, you'll source and assess data, perform analysis, challenge assumptions, test hypotheses, and deliver decision-ready intelligence that drives business action. You'll also create trusted and reusable analytical assets using approved data, definitions and enterprise standards to ensure consistency, transparency and value.

Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with business, data and technology stakeholders to understand complex problems and shape the right questions before recommending solutions. You'll leverage analytics, AI and approved emerging technologies to improve efficiency, uncover opportunities, automate suitable activities and extend analytical capability while operating within established governance and risk frameworks.

Lastly, you will build reusable intelligence products that become embedded in business workflows, continuously measuring their effectiveness and refining them over time. You will create trusted views of data by clearly defining quality, lineage and meaning, while applying data, AI, security and risk standards to ensure reliable, reproducible and high-quality outcomes that support confident decision-making.

What do I need?
  • Proven experience in Data Analytics and/or Data Engineering within the Banking or Financial Services sector, ideally supporting Credit Risk, Collections, Hardship, or Customer Management functions.
  • Strong hands‑on expertise in Teradata, SQL, Python, Snowflake, and Power BI. Experience with SAS is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to modern Analytics, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence capabilities, including Generative AI (LLMs/GPTs), prompt engineering, AI agent development and evaluation, semantic modelling, data modelling, and AI‑assisted analytics, would be highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, data sourcing, data modelling, reporting, dashboard development, and data visualisation to support business decision‑making.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture, metadata management, data lineage, data quality, and data governance principles and practices.
  • Ability to translate complex data and technical concepts into actionable insights, recommendations, and business outcomes, with strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management, business partnering, communication, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast‑paced environments, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision.
