Wollondilly Shire Council is seeking a governance-focused professional to support integrity and compliance across the organisation. You will collaborate across functional areas to respond to feedback, uphold ethical standards and help embed governance frameworks.

Key duties include interpreting legislation, addressing complaints, and improving processes while maintaining confidentiality and delivering timely outcomes. This full-time role is based on the Sydney fringe at Wollondilly.

• Experience in governance, integrity, legislative compliance or related field.
• Proven ability to respond to internal and external feedback with discretion.
• Strong research and analytical capabilities for problem solving.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality work on time.

• Salary commencing from $1,799.63 per week + 12% Superannuation
• 35-hour week

To succeed in this position, you will meet the following criteria:

• Tertiary qualifications in governance, business, law, public administration, compliance, risk management, investigations and/or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Demonstrated experience in governance, integrity, legislative compliance or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing complaints, enquiries or other customer feedback.
• Experience interpreting and applying legislation, policies and procedures.
• Strong research and analytical skills including the ability to problem solve complex issues and identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate, high-quality work within required timeframes, whilst maintaining confidentiality.
