Job summary

UGL Limited in Australia is seeking an experienced Integrity Engineer to join our Fuels, Refining & Engineering team based in Southbank, Melbourne. You will help protect critical assets by ensuring integrity, reliability and regulatory compliance across sites.

In this role you will develop and optimise inspection, maintenance and asset integrity programs, lead tank turnarounds and analyse data to identify risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience in integrity engineering within industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and asset integrity management principles.
  • Familiarity with Australian and international standards for mechanical integrity and inspection.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct integrity assessments, risk reviews and asset condition evaluations.
  • Develop and optimise inspection, maintenance and asset integrity programs across sites.
  • Lead or support tank turnarounds, off-stream inspections and integrity activities.
  • Analyse inspection, maintenance and performance data to identify risks and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients and operations teams to improve asset reliability and regulatory compliance.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Integrity Engineer to join our Fuels, Refining & Engineering team based in Southbank, Melbourne. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, reliability and compliance of critical assets and infrastructure. Working collaboratively with clients, operations and maintenance teams, you will provide technical expertise that supports safe, efficient and sustainable asset performance across complex industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct integrity assessments, risk reviews and asset condition evaluations to support safe and compliant operations.
  • Develop and optimise inspection, maintenance and asset integrity programs across multiple sites.
  • Lead or support tank turnarounds, off-stream inspections and integrity management activities in accordance with applicable standards and specifications.
  • Analyse inspection, maintenance and performance data to identify integrity risks and recommend practical solutions.
  • Partner with clients, operations teams and stakeholders to improve asset reliability, performance and regulatory compliance.
About you
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in integrity engineering, asset management, maintenance or reliability engineering within industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, inspection programs and asset integrity management principles.
  • Strong understanding of relevant Australian and international standards, including mechanical integrity and inspection requirements.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
