Job summary

Allura Partners is seeking an Integration Lead to own every integration in the Workday programme, including cutover. You will manage a ~15 point-to-point connections landscape, govern third-party vendors, and define the technical architecture with the delivery partner and internal EA function.

You will be hands-on across architecture diagrams and testing, ensuring seamless identity management, SSO, and data mapping while delivering a clean handover to BAU.

• Proven ability to write technical and functional integration specifications.
• Strong grasp of field level data mapping between source and target systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the integration plan across roughly 15 point to point connections into Workday HCM, payroll and finance.
• Write and manage technical and functional integration specs, and chase the implementation partner on the ones they own.
• Manage third party vendors on the far side of each integration, covering recruitment, screening, banking, expense and data warehouse.
• Own the technical architecture from the client side, including integration diagrams agreed with the delivery partner and the internal enterprise architecture function.
• Lead single sign on, identity management and user provisioning setup with the internal IT team.
• Work with the test lead to define integration scenarios, trigger integrations and validate results.
• Build and own the technical cutover run sheet, sequencing system switch offs, switch ons and verification.
• Hand over cleanly to a BAU owner at the end of the phase.

About The Company

A national professional services group that has grown quickly through acquisition and is now putting Workday in across HR, payroll and finance. The programme is deliberately lean, run by an experienced internal leadership team with an implementation partner delivering alongside them. Decisions get made in the room, and there is very little between you and the people running the project.

Integration Lead

About The Role

You own every integration in the Workday programme through to production, plus the technical side of cutover. Around 15 systems, all point to point, no middleware. You will work hand in hand with your counterpart on the implementation side, own the specs, and hold the third party vendors on the far side of each connection to account. Reporting into the programme leadership.

Who you are

You have done this before, on a landscape you could actually get your head around.

You are genuinely hands on. Some days that is architecture diagrams. Other days it is running the test yourself because there is no business owner for that system yet.

You know where the line sits between what the delivery partner owns and what the client owns, and you hold it without escalating every time.

You have been inside an ERP or HR transformation before, so nobody needs to explain to you what a payroll system does or why the finance data matters.

Workday integration experience helps but is not the gate. If you understand field level mapping and can write a clean technical spec, the source system matters less than you might think.

• Working knowledge of single sign on, identity management and user provisioning
• Comfortable planning and running technical cutover, including run sheets and sequencing
• Willing to get hands on with integration testing and validation
• Point to point integration experience without reliance on middleware
• Exposure to enterprise architecture teams and how integration sits in the wider landscape
