Job summary

Metcash is Australia’s leading wholesale distribution company seeking a Head of Integrated Planning to lead and shape how we plan, prioritise and execute initiatives that drive sales growth across our IGA supermarket network.

This role builds an end-to-end planning approach, bringing together Commercial, Merchandise, Retail, Marketing and State teams to ensure alignment on priorities and execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated IBP in FMCG/retail.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end planning and align cross-functional teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leadership.
• Relevant degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field.

Responsibilities

• Connect the big picture by designing and leading an integrated planning framework.
• Align cross-functional teams around shared priorities and establish a clear planning rhythm.
• Lead planning governance and influence key decisions to focus resources on high-value initiatives.
• Turn plans into action by partnering with State and Retail teams for in-store execution.
• Measure performance and drive continuous improvement for stronger retail outcomes.
