Job summary

EY in Sydney seeks a Manager to lead Insurance Business Transformation Strategy & Delivery, shaping strategic roadmaps and business cases across the insurance value chain. You will drive requirements, design future-state services, and partner with tech teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You will guide governance, contribute to program success, and bring experience across multiple product lines, with hands-on knowledge of Guidewire or Duck Creek being highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Insurance industry experience across multiple product lines (typically 3+ years).
• Proven experience contributing to strategy and/or transformation initiatives across multiple lines and/or value chain stages.
• Strong operating model, process, and service design capability (baseline assessment, future-state design, and service blueprint/journey contributions).
• Guidewire and/or Duck Creek hands-on experience and/or certification (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Develop strategy, delivery roadmaps and business cases for major initiatives, including scope, benefits, dependencies, and sequencing.
• Baseline current state operating model and develop future-state operating model design across an insurance enterprise or material value chain functions (e.g., Claims, Underwriting)
• Design material components of future-state service blueprints and user journeys.
• Lead end-to-end business requirements gathering for assigned streams, ensuring traceability from objectives through to delivery.
• Provide stream leadership through solution delivery, partnering with technology and delivery teams to enable high-quality outcomes.
• Support strong program governance through key PMO contributions (e.g., 2IC to a program manager, leading a business case stream, and managing inter-stream dependencies).
