Lead Group is seeking an experienced Special Counsel to join its General Insurance practice in Sydney CBD. The role involves handling a broad range of complex insurance litigation matters with autonomy and access to leadership mentorship.

You will advise on professional indemnity, public/product liability, construction disputes and medical negligence, while developing client relationships and refining advocacy and practice management skills in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years post-admission experience in insurance litigation.
• Experience across professional indemnity, public & product liability, construction disputes or medical negligence.
• Strong technical drafting, litigation and negotiation skills.
• Confidence in managing matters independently and dealing directly with clients.
• Commercial awareness, initiative and a collaborative approach.

Responsabilités

• Work across a broad range of complex insurance litigation and liability matters, providing strategic and commercially focused advice to diverse clients.
• Autonomously manage your own files and client relationships with support from an experienced Principal and team.
